Welcome! This is a Dreamfish Service Team for donors, investors, and service team members that support investments to grow the Dreamfish mission.
Dreamfish has a big vision - empowering sustainable work for as many people as possible. We connect people through our peer-to-peer micro-enterprise network to increase economic opportunity, alleviate poverty and mobilize dreams. We use a for-profit strategy to deliver on this promise.

If you have a fascination for the continent and would like to get the facts, this is the place. There are a million project possiblities in Africa. Welcome! This is a Dreamfish Service Team. We welcome anyone to join this team who is interested in contributing.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this service team is to support and connect people who are interested in creating and organizing text, images, graphic, video, audio, and other media to support success of Dreamfish members and the community.
Actual work is accomplished at the Project level, on a project-by-project basis. Projects can be as small as one hour up to several weeks in scope.

Join us to explore value and currency, both within Dreamfish and in the broader world. The Value Practice Group is a community of practice for Dreamfish interested in alternative approaches to valuing work, receiving value, and giving value in our work and life.
The Value Practice Group engages with the broad range of issues and opportunities related to value, ranging from the social implications of value models to the details of implementation within the Dreamfish network, such as:

Needs and value: We all want different things at any moment. This might be self-worth, food and housing, skill-building, achievement, social impact, human rights. How does the exchange of value meet our needs?

Awareness: We want to increase awareness of what we each value and want to create, and of alternative ways to view and think about value.

Empowerment: We want to help empower each other to create the value that we each want to realize. How can we aid each other in creating value?
- Exchanging value: We need ways to exchange with each other to thrive. What are ways other than money to create value? What monetary and non-monetary exchange mechanisms can we use?

Spread Dreamfish Team shares the Dreamfish mission through sharing Dreamfish on the web and at live events. When we have upcoming projects to do, we will call for participation to this group. This team is open for anyone who would like to join.

The purpose of Member Success group is to develop the member experience to support all of us as Dreamfish members in realizing the value we want to create. This is a cross-disciplinary group that applies perspectives from user experience design, transformative learning, community management, social marketing to current projects.
As we connect in many ways, we seek to improve the multiple channels of our experience - in-person experience, web, video, calls, chat, and emails.
Format: The group has 1 weekly meeting at 10am Pacific by conference call, and discussion by an email list. You can participate in both or only the email list.
Membership is open to any Dreamfish member.
