Creating your Human Work World

1. Connecting out loud
- Connect in many ways. You can meet in person, on phone or here online.
  - Meet people now coworking in Chat
  - Join a Dreamfish group
  - Come to an event
  - Get involved in Dreamfish Service

3. Working out loud

A project might last a few hours, months or a year. You can work on one project or several projects at a time. You can hire workers or ask for volunteers. Often, people who work together once work again on another project. (similar to how the entertainment industry works.)

4. Creating Together

Look for opportunities that enrich you. We all want different things at any moment. This might be income, social impact, human rights, self-confidence, food and shelter, skill-building, achievement.
In Dreamfish economy, you can work with other dreamfish members to create the value you want.
Starting a project, you can either pay a worker for work or ask for a volunteer.

5. Giving as you Grow

We grow together. By giving, you are making a more human work world.

How to use your tools

See these tabs on the top of your browser on the top red bar? Logged in, you will see this:

Here is what you can do here:

Meeting is where you find what you need to meet people and have a meeting.

Dreamfish Events - Find an event to meet Dreamfishers on the event calendar.
Chat is where you can be in a cafe or an open office environment while working.
Meeting Pad - Create a new pad to take notes during a meeting. The pad saves your notes.

Marketplace is where you can find what you want and offer your services and resources

Browse for coworkers, clients, funders, and collaborators
Create your profile. Share what you offer and what you want - projects, skills, goods, funding, space, ideas.

Project Hub are where to do work from start to finish.

Your projects - Easily manage your projects
Members - You can invite and attract people to build a team or group of participants
Tasks - Manage your tasks by date, type, stage, and person
Pages - from start to finish, house your plan and meeting notes
Files - Share documents, graphic files, pdfs and spreadsheets

Community is the heart beat of Dreamfish.

Activity River - See what people are doing now. You can learn by observing.
Dreamfish Emails - We have conversations and announce news in email lists.
Dreamfish Blog - News and inspiring ways to work
Dreamfish Groups - A great way to learn and meet people. Most groups are open for new members.

My Dreamfish is where you manage your stuff.

Dashboard - Access everything in one place - activity of coworkers, your projects, your groups, messages, bookmarks and requests.
Profile - Help people to connect with you. Edit your profile to show your picture, portfolio of work, and what you are working on now.

Settings - Choose how you want to be contacted, and change your account information and password

Chat Cafe is where you can be in a cafe or an open office environment while working.

Access Chat Cafe in the top navigation of this page. Look for the icon.
The chat cafe gives you a way to stay connected, meet people, see how people work, and ask for help or feedback while we are working.
Keep a Tab on your browser open as you work, just for Chat. Then, you can return any time to chat.
Say "hello" and another Dreamfish member will say hi. Leave messages that people can see later.

Messages inbox is where you can send and reply to messages.
When you send a message, the receiver gets a notification of your message by email.

Privacy and Collaboration

In Dreamfish, we work as openly as possible so that we can learn from each other, get feedback on work, and share easily. However, sometimes, you want more privacy. Dreamfish gives you lots of flexibility to choose your privacy levels. For any item you create, you can choose a level of access for people to read or edit.
