Creating your profile. Open up and express yourself in order to build trust. List what you offer and what you want. Describe the benefits of what you do.
Upload a photo of yourself to let people see you. (If you are shy, remember that it is better to upload any photo of yourself than no photo.)
Connecting
Join a group - Meet people who share your practice area or region.
Explore the Marketplace for people who want skills that you offer, or people that share your interests.
Send a message to the person, and explore if they would be interested to meet with you.
Meeting
Listen to hear what someone is looking for. Help them to find what they want. Ask in turn for help finding what you are looking for. We help each other out. If you find yourself doing most of the talking, you are not listening.
Follow up promptly with any help that you offered.
