Dreamfish is the first global work cooperative. The co-op as a legal model for organization is hundreds of years old, designed for democracy, economic empowerment and sustainability. Dreamfish is a legal innovation on the model as Dreamfish members are distributed throughout the world.
A cooperative enterprise is a democratic legal structure, where each member is an equal owner and has 1 vote. A member is not just a consumer or a worker. Rather, we are all owners/customers/leaders.
At the end of each year, active members can redeem dividends, and receive back money back in proportion to the money put into Dreamfish. As a member, you will receive information on how to redeem dividends.
Over 800 million people globally are cooperative members, and cooperatives provide more jobs than multi-national corporations. The United Nation estimates that half the world's population has been made more secure by cooperative enterprise. Cooperatives are also known for being resilient organizations, often sustaining over 100 years. For more information, see the International Cooperatives Alliance.
